Cheer
UNITY Cheer molds future leaders by empowering young women through self-discipline, commitment, confidence and focus. We welcome girls from ages 4 – 17 to join our program. Our program will focus on the elements that build great cheerleading technique. Cheerleading is an all-star sport, and much more than sideline cheers and half-time dances. Cheerleading requires athleticism, strength, flexibility, coordination and dedication. With its great physical rewards, cheer is also a social, team-based activity that can help boost kids’ self-confidence and leadership skills. We hope you will join us!
Ages
UNITY Cheer is open to girls ages 4-17.
When
The Cheer season runs from mid-July to March. The team will perform at local events, UNITY football games, competitions and community shows.
Where
Games are usually held in Montgomery County (Burtonsville/Silver Spring area) on Saturdays in the Fall.
